Couples divorce in good times and bad. In the midst of the "Great Recession of 2009," mediation clients and the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court are confronted with dramatic increases in unemployment and underemployment, a flood of homes that are "under water," and shrinking retirement accounts. Come hear a judicial perspective on how economic hard times affect divorcing couples from the Honorable Edward F. Donnelly, Jr., Associate Justice of the Middlesex Division of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court Department.
